About the West Moors Memorial Hall
The Memorial Hall was built in 1929 and was erected in memory of those who died in World War I. The Hall, the land on which it and the Bowls Club stand and the car park is owned and operated the Charity “West Moors Memorial Hall”.
The Charity was established as a Charitable Trust in 1929 with the land being endowed in 1929, 1945 and 1948. The Charity was modernised in 2025 to become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation facilitating working in the modern world.
